Description
The DEWALT DCE300M2 Cordless Died Cable Crimping Tool uses an electric motor to power a hydraulic piston pump. The pumping action forces a ram forward that forces closed a set of dies (not included). When used with appropriate crimping dies, the DCE300 is designed to mechanically crimp connectors onto cable to create a tight and permanent connection. The crimper is very robust, but also heaver than other crimpers of the same ton rating. I would have given the crimper a higher rating, but it has been difficult to source the crimp dies that work with this crimper. They are not common dies and several places I have checked are out of stock.
