This is one of the best made collated attachments for a screwgun. Have tried various incantations over the years, I think they finally have it perfected. Great for doing ceilings & overall speeds up.production with only a slight learning curve if you already are familiar with handling a drywall screwgun. Price was great, shipping fast & Dewalt quality can’t be beat.

So easy to use. I am a female in my 60’s and I think it is the best ever. I am sheet rocking my whole house. I did have it jam but it was my fault, if the screws aren’t in the proper place to start it doesn’t work. I can hang sheet rock so much easier because you just aim and sink the screw. I have had contractors try it and they love it. I am planning on gifting these this year. They are the best.

Worked really good

This product is definitely a good product. Survived being dropped from a ladder and still functioned properly. When using fresh wood for studs to older wood for stud the depth was not constant and managing you Variable trigger speed really helps. Talking about the trigger for the reverser switch is in a BAD place for usage

I’ve had 2 collated screw guns in the past from other manufactures in the past that were very frustrating to use. I was hesitant to try this one because of those experiences. I’m glad I bought it, works much better than the others I’ve used.

…when will the 2-4″ screw version be available? Need to be able to drive 2.5″ + screws for deck boards. Just make the darn thing longer, please!

I bought the collated screw gun attachment with the screw gun and for the most part I’m very happy with both. I’ve read the other reviews and complaints and I see some of the points. The biggest is that screws don’t come out correctly. There is an adjustment for screw length that takes care of this issue in almost all cases. The few times I had a problem was when I switched screw size and forgot to chage the setting. There is a problem with the slide mechanism also, but this was easily fixed with an application of dry graphite lubricant. The gun also needs to be held straight to the drywall and enough pressure applied. Reaching too far to get a screw in that far corner often doesn’t work well. Keeping these things in mind, the drywall gun with the collated screw gun attachment makes putting up drywall much faster and easier, especially on the ceiling, which is specifically what I got this for.

People need to make sure it’s set to whatever size screw they are using

I bought this attachment even though some reviews were not the greatest. This attachment is awesome! Works well, saves time and is just great to use. I used it on drywall and plywood underlayment. Only had one or 2 jams which really wasn’t the tools fault. It was the angle of the strips of screws keeping it from feeding correctly (putting drywall on the ceiling, strip was on an angle). After figuring that out and correcting that, no more issues. I am extremely happy with this purchase and definitely recommend to others.

Figured out the screw length. Works well. Son ran 600 screws putting up a fence in about an hour. Only wish dewalt would make the 3/16 tip in #2 square. Have to thin down the senco tip to make it work with 1 3/4″ exterior screws.
