Holds drywall screws nicely, many depth settings for perfect screw every time.

I was impressed on how good it works. I did a couple of small jobs and it work great. Still need to run it longer to see how it handles bigger jobs.

Really impressed with just how much dust is sucked into the bag. That sure helps in an enclosed space.

I have been in the drywall trade for 15 years. I purchased my first cordless drywall gun a little over a year ago. It is faster than my corded gun. It has plenty of power and the batteries seem to last pretty well too. I also like that it is considerably lighter than my corded guns. But one thing that has always kept me buying Dewalt guns was the nose and clutch assembly of them, and for some reason Dewalt came up with this new design for the cordless guns, and I don’t like it. It is inconsistent setting screw depth where sometimes is breaks the paper and the next screw has to be turned in. You also can’t hammer in the screw if it isn’t quite deep enough, unless you remove the nose cone. Even pulling dead heads (screws that missed the stud/strapping) is difficult. Also, my corded guns the nose cone could be removed by pulling it straight off, and this has a twist lock and half the time you twist to unlock it, and the depth adjustment changes also. Overall, its a good quality gun and I do like it enough to keep using it. I just wish they would have kept the same nose and clutch as the corded models and it would be perfect.

Have used this alot and does a great job. Pros and cons to having it battery operated. I like the flexabilty of not messing around with a power cord, but I go through batterys really quickly… I dont know if the sander drains the battery really quickly or if i need to buy new batterys! I like the setting to change power output from low to more powerful.

2nd best cordless tool I own. Light weight but sturdy! Look all the cordles options becoming available more and more. Just wish the batteries weren’t so overly priced.

This little sander is amazing! I’m loving not being connected to a cord. Seems to do the same job as a orbital corded sander but more user friendly because the cord won’t get in your way. The battery seemed to hold up well through quite a few projects.

The sander works great. The battery power is strong and lasts. The sanding pads stay attached with no problem. I’d buy it again.
