Works really nice and battery lasts long. Make sure you hold it straight and keep inward pressure all the way until the screw seats and you’ll love this!!

Too heavy as compared to my electric one. The chuck also is hard to unscrew and re-screw. That’s why I only give it an average rating.

Puts Hilti to shame! No comparison!

Very Reliable…plus you don’t have to drag a extension cord .

I’ve bought 2 of these to replace my old corded 276s. They are well worth the price, and work great all day working in new construction. Being cordless saves us so much time and is very convenient in most situations. Doing things like barrels was so much easier without a cord to get stuck on and drag around. Putting on small strips on windows, entryways, arches, stairs, and openings is also much easier. They can also survive high falls. One of them survived falling 16 feet 3 separate times while doing firewalls for duplexes. We have driven 100s of bulk boxes of screws and had no problem with them after 6 months. I also recommend to using the smaller batteries due to the weight of them. Hopefully the new compact 4 ah battery that is coming out will allow me to use it longer without adding to much weight.

I had to go to two stores to get it.The sales associate at the Hoover store was very helpful and even called the Pelham store for me.The associate at the Pelham store said they did not have any when Hoover called .I stopped by on the way home anyhow and they had them just not at the display

I have a dozen different DeWalt cordless tools. I have been eased with all of them. This drywall drill did not disappoint. Fast rotor, cuts like butter.

Hard to get a precise adjustment to bed the screw. It does what it is supposed to though once adjusted.

I bought this combo 5 years ago! Hilti was too heavy and bulky! Makita is on the heavy side too! Milwaukee is way too slow for me! But this gun here was all around the perfect gun for the job! The only problem I’ve had with my gun is that the trigger or battery connection has some kind of short but man the gun has last a long time! And the drywall cutout tool by far is one of the best ones to use out of all these other brands! Get you a dewalt!

My entry level Dewalt drill with 1500 rpms was struggling with drywall screws into 2x4s. I’m doing a complete kitchen remodel. No problem with 3” star head screws in 2x4s through the new cabinets. Impressive strength. Wish I bought earlier during my remodel.
