This is a great drill for drywall, as it stops you from sinking the screw too deep into the drywall. However, you have to be very accurate in the way you use it, as it must be held very straight, driving the screw straight into the stud or joist. It will not work well if you have to drive the screw on an angle into a stud or joist, as it will not sink properly.

The screw gun worked as expected and is lighter than I expected, since I own the corded version. It took a while to adjust the screw set depth, which on the corded version seemed easier. Overall a good tool if you have a lot of Gyp Board to hang.

Bought this to help with a deck project. The screw gun worked great. The battery lasted longer than me in the summer heat (and it comes with two batteries). It is well balanced and not that heavy. My one complaint about this drill (and yes, I see it in the title) is that it really is intended for drywall and not multi-use. I didn’t deduct any points as they tell you that, but it is hard to know what they mean. You can purchase a collated attachment (DEWALT 20V MAX XR Drywall Screw Gun Collated Magazine Accessory) which will feed in CS collated screws. The big problem is that accessory only comes with a phillips bit, and its a weird size, so you can replace it with a star drive or square drive for deck work or other wood work.
