The DEWALT DCF620M2 features 4,400 RPM of no-load speed with the ability to fasten various board materials/thicknesses. This screw gun can drive up to 2,800 screws per day on a 4.0Ah 20-Volt XR battery pack. DEWALT Screw guns are designed to withstand a dusty environment.

Without a 3.0 or bigger battery the tool is useless. Been doing Drywall for over 40 years and you can’t beat the corded screw gun for maximum production. Would not suggest this screw gun to a professional, maybe to the average home owner it’ll suffice

I have been in the drywall trade for 15 years. I purchased my first cordless drywall gun a little over a year ago. It is faster than my corded gun. It has plenty of power and the batteries seem to last pretty well too. I also like that it is considerably lighter than my corded guns. But one thing that has always kept me buying Dewalt guns was the nose and clutch assembly of them, and for some reason Dewalt came up with this new design for the cordless guns, and I don’t like it. It is inconsistent setting screw depth where sometimes is breaks the paper and the next screw has to be turned in. You also can’t hammer in the screw if it isn’t quite deep enough, unless you remove the nose cone. Even pulling dead heads (screws that missed the stud/strapping) is difficult. Also, my corded guns the nose cone could be removed by pulling it straight off, and this has a twist lock and half the time you twist to unlock it, and the depth adjustment changes also. Overall, its a good quality gun and I do like it enough to keep using it. I just wish they would have kept the same nose and clutch as the corded models and it would be perfect.

This gun has one speed, and is hot conducive for remodeling. It has one purpose to run screws into wood or metal studs. It has no torque at all in fact if there is any resistance such as an old piece of wood the gun stallsSo this is a good tool for new construction, but a terrible tool for remodelers

Great tool to have for doing drywall no cords make the job much easier and faster. Would recommend getting the bigger sized 20 volt battery for it, its a little heavier than the normal battery, but I prefer it since the gun is much lighter than a traditional corded gun
