I love this, the gyroscopic action is totally cool and gives a great feel and level of control. Essentially you press the actuate button and then then twist the drill on the direction you want it to turn, the more you twist the faster it drives, takes about 10 seconds to get used to it then its great and you’ll never go back to a conventional one. Good quality and long battery life

I have a nice collection of tools, including the DeWalt 20v drills & drivers, but this intrigued me. I bought one for my son for Christmas, and decided to get another for my self for when my full size driver is overkill.I wasn’t sure what to expect with the gyroscopic action, but after using it for just a few minutes, it felt very natural. Simply twist your wrist in the direction you want to turn the screw, and it screws or unscrews.Based on my experience, I think I will return to the store to buy another for my elderly father in law. He was just complaining about how heavy his old drill is, and i think this may be just the thing for him to do light work around the house. Since the form factor is similar to a traditional screwdriver I think it will be light enough for him, and easy to use.

Cool tool. Once you get used to it and how it functions. Turning it further increases speed and torque. Have to be careful to not strip out screw heads or bit. Handy. (Get an extra battery. )

Really strange that you have to twist your wrist for this screw driver to work properly, Dewalt needs to go back to drawing board for a better product, the old 7v was better..

I think this is a very good product, durable and well bit. My only real concern is how long 1 battery will last before recharging. I used it on about 200 sheet metal screw and it showed 2 of 3 battery bars available. There is no way I would pay the asking msrp, decent value if under forty-five.

When I first saw this little screwdriver ,I noted the lithium ion rechargeable separate battery and the nice driver bit set that came with it .It looked to be perfect for my hardware installations and has turned out to be quite awesome! The gyroscopic direction/speed control concerned me,as I wasn’t sure that it would work at all angles,but it does ,and it works very well.It is nice to have a power driver I can throw in my back pocket,charges quickly,has a battery indicator on the tool so you always know that you have juice,and lasts well for the tasks that I give it .With only 1battery,70$ was a little pricey,but on sale,it has made a great addition to my battery tool collection!

Like the straight shaft for electrical and automotive work. No switch to control forward or reverse but the twist of the wrist gyro action takes getting used to. Plenty of power for simpler tasks and the light is useful. Overall recommend.

I have every tool. Or at least nearly so. I bought this because I needed a new 180 degree power driver. The operation is above and beyond. The gyro controls the speed and direction. No speed button or direction button required. It is hard to explain how the next generation screwdriver works, but this is to the typical power screwdriver as the power screwdriver is to an old fashioned screwdriver. Clearly beyond space age!

Have been shopping for a cordless drill for over a year and I am glad I waited on this one. Size is great and comfortable in old hands. I like the gyroscopic action. There is no torque at start to throw your wrist. The 1/4 ” chuck allows for many options. I tried drill bits, drive sockets and various screw bits. I bought it to do wiring. A screw driver is hard on my hands and this cordless is just what the Doctor ordered. I can just say that this driver will get a lot of use here. The ad shows two battery’s and a bag on the internet, but I bought off the Black Friday ad and don’t feel I got shorted. It is a keeper.
