Let me start off by saying if I win the drawing or not I love this impact driver I have not had a problem with anything that I have used it on it does not lack power or the ability to get the job done I would recommend this to anybody who does construction or just things around the house

When I had to replace my deck last year my friend arrived with this impact driver. After 30 minutes of watching him work I had to go out an buy my own to finish the job. This impact driver performed flawlessly when I had to replace most of the boards in my 12 x 28 deck—16 foot boards on a 45 degree angle. This tool made short work of installing not only the deck boards, it also allowed for easy installation of half a dozen header boards we had to add for support. This impact driver allowed us to easily secure the deck screws into the pressure treated lumber in short order.

The brushless impact works great, especially for repetitive work like deck screws or sheet metal. But it doesn’t have quite as much torque as the ones with brushes. However, I think they will last longer because they are not as likely to burn out the way brushed ones do.

It packs an amazing amount of power considering the size and weight. Will drive a screw just as fast as DeWalt’s full-size 20V Max tools AND it’s cheaper. You’ll see keyboard warriors ripping on the Atomic line – don’t listen to them. I’ve been using it daily for months as a carpenter and have had zero problems. If you’re driving large diameter fasteners like lags bolts I’d suggest going to the XR impact, but for everything else, this tool is the ticket!

I’ve been using this driver for about a year and a half, with a 6ah battery. I get about a week off one charge for drywall work, and a full day per charge driving 3″ screws into treated wood. It slid off a 2 story roof and came completely apart, pieces everywhere… I put it back together, and it’s STILL WORKING. Skips a beat here and there, but I can still build an entire deck with it.
