I was tired of having an old drill that wouldn’t put screws through a wet paper bag. I decided to get this after someone came to install roofing on my house and it drove the screws in like a hot knife through butter. I am very pleased with the purchase, plenty of torque and I can drive 3″ screws through pressure treated lumber no problem. It does even better with pre-drilled holes. Very impressed!

The outer most pins on the Impact Driver for battery placement were both bent prohibiting the battery from being attached. We adjusted them and hopefully they will be fine with usage of the tool.We own many DeWalt tools and this is the first that had an issue.
