I received my Dewalt Impact Driver as a gift in April 2020. It’s mid September and the spring in the chick broke. It was the perfect size for us ladies. Lightweight & works amazing. I still can’t understand how it broke but it was while I was drilling a screw into a predrilled hole. Next thing I know the pieces were in the grass. I’m still looking for one piece that I think it’s missing. Tomorrow I’m going out with the magnet in the same area to make sure I get everything that fell from it. I can’t even try and bring it in. Being it was a gift my friend had the receipt but lost it. Praying he finds it to at least show the age but I doubt he will. He already looked everywhere. Other than that incident the few times I used it I loved it. I’m average build at 5’4” so this is the perfect drill for someone my size. I don’t have to be super strong to use it. Also doesn’t hurt my wrist or arm after using it. I had another brand that was much bigger and I would always be sore from the size/ weight of that one. I see others had that same problem above. I’ll call the store tomorrow and see if maybe they had a recall on it or a replacement for it. Plus the other small part if I can’t find it in the grass.

I purchased this impact driver kit for my husband. This was the beginning of our love for the DeWalt CORDLESS power tools. This impact driver is amazing AND CORDLESS. My husband loves the fact that the driver kit came with it’s own bag to keep everything in one spot. It’s small enough to be able to take anywhere. The 20V battery has a long run time and is interchangeable with other DeWalt power tools. This has been a deciding factor when purchasing other cordless tools as the batteries themselves can be quite expensive. The impact driver not only comes with the great reputation of the DeWalt name but satisfaction in owning a quality product.

I busted lug nuts off a full size truck with this thing! That’s all you need to know. I’m super impressed with the speed, lightness, and torque of this thing. Forward seems to have just as much torque as reverse. It’s not to loud, appropriate for a tool like this. Extremely light with low profile batteries that last plenty long. Buy It. It’s a good investment.
