I have been using DEWALT tools for years. I still use my 4″ grinder from 20+ years ago. So I was not surprised to see this drill perform like I needed it too. I do a lot of remodeling on peoples houses and flip houses. Past month I have used every day. 1 battery last the day. I swap out every morning even though the battery has not been drained.

I’ve been a dedicated Panasonic cordless drill motor user for decades. It is the only tool except for Bosch that has full torque at ALL rpm’. No need to add power at lowest speeds. That offers a level of control not available in normal tools, plus massive power. Great tool, but hard to find. Now, I had been faced with a lot of screw driving, and I wa s missing the impact function in my driver. Panasonic for drilling nad fine control driving, but this Dewalt impact driver for workhorse driving! It’s INSANELY POWERFUL AND FAAST! LONG deck screws sink in like butter, and the impact keeps the bit well engaged. It seems very resistant to over-driving, which is good since here is no torque limiter. T spins FAST, and Hatenaka speed control in the trigger is pretty smooth, though I’d prefer some lower speed capability for tricky starts. The battery is DEEP! I’ve driven loads of screws and it hasn’t run out yet, so that second battery will seldom get used. I’ll have to swap them occasionally to maintenance health. This driver is the pro-tip solution. Expensive, yes, but it will speed you through jobs like greased lightning. If you can afford it, go for it.
