Bought this to help replace the front axles on my car. Worked great, has plenty of torque to get off the axle nut. Cut a lot of time off the job and I didn’t have to strain myself turning rusty bolts. Comes with 2 batteries but for the whole job which took 4 hours I only used about 1/3 of a charge on one battery.

I used to use a impact driver with a socket adapter for all of my mechanic work. I never felt like I needed a big impact wrench, boy was I wrong. After doing just a few projects this impact wrench has already paid for it itself, it is a little heavy but having that 400 foot pounds of torque is perfect to really snug bolts down. I may not use it as much as my impact driver but having the right tools always makes the job easier.The kit I bought comes with two 4ah batteries, charger and a bag. The 4ah batteries are good for keeping the weight down while still getting enough power.

Had been looking at this for a while wondering if I really needed it/would use it very much and decided to pull the trigger and get it and I’m glad that I did. I feel like mighty Thor wielding his hammer using this thing. It has far more power than I had expected and is able to easily unseat lugs with out a breaker and also makes removing lawn mower blades for sharpening a breeze and watch out rusty bolts because you have met your match. I also purchased a DEWALT 1/4-in to 1/2-in Socket Adapter Model # DW2298 G to use with this and now I can use all of the ¼” hex bits and drivers. The tool doesn’t appear to be to power hungry either since a 5ah battery will last me most of the day with medium to heavy use. I haven’t had it long but I’m already finding that I’m using it more than expected to make my job and life a little easier.
