This is a very nice impact socket set. I wish it had a 7/8 included but that would be my only complaint. I compared this set directly to the Gearwrench and Husky sets (which I also have) and I like these Dewalt sockets better. They have a nice design with the dull black oxide but with very nice labels on them. Much better labeling than other brands I’ve seen. The case is nice but it is a little big if you stow in your vehicle. Just used on some larger self tapping screws on a trailer steel frame and worked well.

I pull the trigger, it will come on then cuts back off. This happens every couple uses. So I have to pull the trigger several times to get it to keep running. Also, weak torque. Couple engine head bolts (maybe 80lbs), it could not torque them off. Now that I think about it, I might need to exchange it.

Perfect little wrench to get those tough bolts free. I do wish It had a t least a 2 speed setting, but overall It works great! Basically the same unit as my hex impact driver, but it only runs at 1 speed, which seems to power thru most things. It doesn’t say in the description, but it comes with a Hog Ring style anvil, which is perfect from a mechanics prospective. Sockets are fairly easily to put on and take off. The bonus impact socket set is perfect, especially for those who are starting out in the impact world with nothing. Got a steal of a deal on this and I can’t wait to really get some use out of it!
