Description
The 20-Volt MAX XR Angle Grinder features a brake, E-Clutch System, and Kickback Brake. The brake quickly brings the wheel to a stop in 2-seconds or less when the trigger is released. The E-Clutch System automatically shuts down the motor when a wheel pinch in detected. These 2-features working together to shut the tool down without user interaction, called the Kickback Brake. Additionally, the grinder features a One-Touch Guard, which allows for single-action adjustments to change guard position.
- Brushless motor requires no brush changes
- Brake stops wheel in 2-seconds or less on average
- Kickback brake engages when a pinch, stall, or bind-up event is sensed and the electronic brake engages with maximum force to quickly stop the wheel, reduce the movement of the grinder and shut the grinder off
- Features E-switch protection and trade, – when the on/off trigger switch has a no-volt release function, in the event of a power outage or other unexpected shut down, the trigger switch will need to be cycled (turned off and then on) to restart tool
- DCF887B 3-speed settings for optimized application versatility
- DCF887B precision drive in speed 1 for precision applications and added control
- DCF887B 3 LED lights with 20-second delay after trigger release, provide visibility without shadows
- DCF887B 1-handed loading 1/4 in. hex chuck with easy grip sleeve

Ive had this driver for 2yrs now. It has handled everything ive thrown at it with ease. It is plenty powerful for driving timberlocks or lag bolts. Ive also used it as a light duty impact wrench. The lights are bright enough for what i need and i havent had a single problem with this driver. I highly recomend it

This is definitely the best ¼ impact driver I’ve used. The first 1 I had for 2 years and used it off and on probably 50-75 times in those 2 years then 3 weeks ago I used it to drive over 500 screws while building a Trex deck and that’s what seemed to do it in. It still worked but wouldn’t hold onto the bits anymore and it got very frustrating when they would fall out, so I went and bought another one. I’d recommend this tool to anyone.
