It’s awesome

This tool surpassed all of my expectations. I thought it would be heavier to use because of the 60 volt battery, however it is quite well balanced. The power is exceptional, and it lasts quite a long time between recharging. All in all, extremely pleased with this purchase!

I’ve had this grinder for about two months, it has started acting up a little, the motor doesn’t always start right up I sometimes have to spin the blade a little first probably an issue with the brake but it really doesn’t bother me much. Aside from that this thing rules. It powers right through everything I put in front of it; cutting concrete, rebar, structural steel and grinding welds are all handled with ease. I didn’t think I really needed a cordless grinder but after using it for a while I’ll never go back to corded. The added safety on ladders and roofs paired with more dexterity on the ground makes this one of my favorite tools in my truck.

I’ve had this for 6 months or so and I can tell you it’s way more powerful than the Hilti cordless grinder I use at work. I have used it for cutting, grinding, and sanding and I have never stalled it out like others. I would highly recommend this to anyone who needs a cordless grinder.

I’ve had two of these grinders for going on three years now, and they run great. The power beats all other cordless grinders I’ve used, and the batteries last. It’s great to not have to run a power cord to make cuts or grind in hard to get to places. Huge time saver.

I’ve been using a Makita 14″ gas saw, the DeWalt is way lighter and simpler to use. It’s taking a while to get used to, it takes a little more concentration to stay on a straight line, but it sure is easier to hold.

My daily go to grinder is the 20v paddle switch, but when i have heavy grinding or cutting I find this tool worth the extra time to dig out because it does the job so much faster. The ability to use 6 inch cutting and grinding wheels opens up more versatilityThe brake is nice, and the kickback function is nice i guess, it has engaged a few times, but i have never been in a situation to say if it actually saved me from an injury or not…The tool is a little heavy, but its mainly the battery. I have 3 Milwaukee 110v grinders I use a lot when i do welding, and this one definately has more power when the battery is up, I only have 9.0ah(3.0ah) flexvolt batteries. I will take the extra weight if it means i dont need to drag a cord up a lift or take a generator out in the field. The batteries last good for what it is, you cant expect to do serious work without using a serious amount of battery. You can grind pretty hard for probably 20 min on a 9.0 charge.

What a great tool. This grinder is pretty heavy because of the 60v MAX battery, but I think a little extra weight isn’t necessarily a bad thing with a grinder… the tool doesn’t seem to want to jump around, and the kickback brake works awesome. I am also impressed with the new design on the retaining nut… it holds tight, never comes loose, and you don’t have to have a special tool to tighten the disc as you switch between types (Concrete, metal, etc.) I grinded on concrete grout pads for about an hour with this new grinder and my battery still had one bar on the power meter….. very impressive…. with my last blue grinder, it seemed like I was swapping 18v batteries every few minutes. Well done DeWalt!

This is a great saw. I was really impressed how it performed. I have used it in a shower remodel to cut the slab bigger and remove the wall tile by cutting it into manageable size sheets. I have used it also on an exterior block wall to cut thru from both sides to install a door opening.

Working in an industrial environment everyday with these tools manufacturing heavy oil field equipment. Replaced corded tools with the DeWalt tools and have removed the limitations of power cords. This grinder is either in my hands or next to me ready to work. Powerful and able to handle any material, I get through much more in a day than dragging cords around the large material we work with. The safety brake stops the wheel quick so you can set it down and get back to work. The battery life under full grinding may seem small until you consider how much work the tool is doing. Using the grinder throughout the day I have never drained all four of my batteries. Quality is there, been using this grinder hard for over five months and still running like it was out of the box.

Bought mine elsewhere but here is my review. There are no issues I have with this grinder. Its perfect. Very easy to use. Wheel change is great, power, very well balanced, you can rotate the head in either direction by taking out the 4 screws, trigger is my favorite type. I dont like the slide switch on some grinders. Being able to turn on and off with one hand is a huge bonus for me. Comes with 4” and 6” wheel gaurd. You wont be dissapointed with this tool

Im a sheet metal worker with up to 15-20 working guys on any give time and we all have 60v grinder. This thing is a beast , we are so fortunate there is a tool like this that is so essential to our scope of work . Weather it’s 1/2 “ plate, 3/8 steel angle ,Unit strut or all tread . It gets the job done !

I started with the model below this one (413) and it just did not have enough power nor did it last long enough with the 6 amp flex volt battery I use. This model however has more power and lasted longer since it takes advantage of the flex volt capability. I highly recommend this!

The dewalt 60v grinder has plenty of power. I use it every day and it runs great. I did not give it excellent because I find it a little awkward removing the battery. Keep an eye on the safety device on the switch, mine stuck closed on one occassion and when I laid the grinder down it started to run.
