- 13 Amp equivalent power
- Brake engages when trigger is released, stopping speeds of 1.5-seconds with standard grinding wheel (4-1/2 in. x 1/4 in. bonded abrasive wheel, non-hubbed)
- Kickback brake engages when a pinch, stellar bind-up event is sensed and the electronic brake engages with maximum force to quickly stop the wheel, reduce the movement of the grinder and shut the grinder off
- E-clutch activates in less than a tenth of a second when a pinch/stall is detected, shutting down the motor
- 9,000 RPM speed allows the use of up to 6 in. wheels
- Allows for up to 6 in. wheel size for both cutting and grinding applications

Took this out to a field to cut old barn wood. It lasted for a very long time and was still at 2/3 capacity. These are expensive, but pack a lot of power.

It is a good deal. But the physical size of the battery does limit the tools it does go in. It will not fit in the 20 V bandsaw that we have. The battery will not fit in the DeWalt DCA1820. If there is a guard around the battery it may not allow the battery to fit .

My cordless circular saw actually cuts with this battery, the 2 ah battery the saw came with couldn’t power it to cut through anything but with the 6 ah and this 9 ah batteries it rips through everything like it has a cord, worth every penny.
