Upgrade to the FLEXVOLT 60-Volt MAX 4-1/2 in. to 6 in. grinder. It has up to 30% more power than the DCG414 60-Volt MAX Grinder with 2300 unit watts out. This grinder delivers 13 Amp power with a no-load speed of 9000 RPM to deliver ultimate power. It is part of the PERFORM and PROTECT product line to help keep users safe. Its Kickback Brake engages when a pinch, stall, or bind-up event is sensed and shuts the grinder off. The DEWALT DCS380B 20-Volt Max Lithium-Ion Reciprocating Saw has a four-position blade clamp that allows for flush cutting and increased positional versatility with tool-free blade changes. The 1-1/8 in. stroke length allows the blade to cut more material in one pass than blades with shorter lengths, allowing you to work more efficiently.
- 13 Amp motor
- 9000 rpm no-load speed for applications with 6 in. grinder wheels
- Brake engages when trigger is released with a stopping speed of 1.5-seconds when using a standard grinding wheel (4-1/2 in. x 1/4 in. bonded abrasive wheel, non-hubbed)
- Kicback brake engages when a pinch, stall, or bind-up event is sensed, the electronic brake engages with maximum force to quickly stop the wheel, reduce the movement of the grinder, and shut the grinder off
- E-CLUTCH activates in less than a tenth of a second when a pinch/stall is detected, shutting down the motor
- Up to 30% more power vs the DCG414 Grinder
- DCS380B 4-position blade clamp allows for flush cutting and increased positional versatility
- DCS380B Variable speed trigger with 0-3000 SPM for ultimate operator control
- DCS380B Pivoting adjustable shoe extends blade life and allows for easier depth-of-cut control

Saw arrived as requested. My dewalt 2A batteries don’t last very long running the saw. I was cutting 3″ tree branches with a long wood cutting blade. The problem was not the saw, but the 2a lightweight batteries I was using. I hope dewalt has some stronger batteries. Mine lasted about 3 1/2 minutes each, then back on the charger….
