The DEWALT 20-Volt Variable Speed Die Grinders offers the ability to choose from 3 different speed settings and then control that range even further through the use of a variable speed rocker switch. This offers the users options to easily adjust the settings to meet the needs of their application. The integrated LED light at the nose of the tool helps brighten the work piece while in use.

Working in an industrial environment everyday with these tools manufacturing heavy oil field equipment. Replaced corded tools with the DeWalt tools and have removed the limitations of power cords.This grinder has been a wonderful addition in cleaning up heavy welds and rough cuts, have yet to find a job it cannot handle. This is a must have if you work with metal. With a carbide burr bit I can make my welds look acceptable. With a cut off wheel it can get into places a right angle grinder can’t. It also is handy for removing glued pvc fittings that you can’t just cut off the pipe.

I do chainsaw carving/sculpting and there are some things that just can’t be done with a chainsaw. The die grinder is my go to tool for doing fine details and sanding. Not having to drag a cord around is a bonus. I still have my corded die grinder but after using my cordless after a while, I bought a second one so I wouldn’t have to stop and change bits. The variable speed REALLY helps with being able to feather the speed off the trigger. Makes the possibilities almost endless with the right bits.
