Great power for a cordless tool.

More power than expected! Lightweight and strong for size. Easily pulls tile and chips concrete. Have not punched holes with it yet.

I’ve had this for about a year now & its still going strong.! Only downside I’d have to say is that it drains any battery that isn’t flexvolt awfully quick.

The rotary hammer drill worked better than expected. It drilled a 1/2-inch x 10-inch deep hole through granite with ease. It drilled so easily I thought at first it wasn’t working but the drill bit kept going deeper and deeper with little effort. It wasn’t as noisy as I expected either. The battery didn’t run very long but I was tired by the time it needed to be charged. As usual, Dewalt lived up to its reputation.

I have not had a chance to use the drill yet but it looks very good and I think it will work great.
Arlie Murazik (verified owner) –
Lightweight but works just as hard as my corded rotary drill.
Freeman Stehr (verified owner) –
Works great in rural areas and nice no cord to lug around

I wasn’t sure that a cordless “drill” could drill the twenty, 1″ holes through the 6″ cinder block wall but this tool worked perfectly. It was easy to use and it fit into the small area I was working in.

4.o ah battery went quick. But drill was great. Drilled through 4″ basalt rock hearth easy no power issues. Also through hearth grout and concrete blocks no problem. Have not hit rebar or real hard concrete with it yet.

So far so good. Everything as expected. Much easier than been with a cord everywhere.

Always use Dewalt tools. They perform well and there is a local service center should any trouble arise.

For years we have used corded drills on the job site, and I have been wanting to use a battery powered drill for a while. So far this drill has met or exceeded my expectations. Love the freedom from the cord.
Isac Cole (verified owner) –
Great tool . Makes holes with ease and beats having to carry a extention cord
Darius Jerde (verified owner) –
Does what it supposed to do. Work better with flex volt battery but when you don’t feel like running cords it cant be beat
Andres Bruen (verified owner) –

Using this drill on large limestone boulders. Along with pins and feathers we are breaking them down to be used in our landscaping. I am using 5/8” bit and can get 15 or so holes per battery charge using the 4 amp batteries. I have also used a 3/4” chisel in order to clean up the edges.
