I have used Dewalt tools for 24 years in my A/V business. They all are great and I love every single one I and my crew use, every day. Dewalt is an American owned company always at the forefront of tools. For concrete or masonry, THIS is the drill you need to use. Toss all other ones away. If you want holes in concrete, brick, etc., this drill is like a hot knife through butter compared to all other drills. If you are using Tapcon bits, especially on brick, then use your standard general purpose drill with hammer drill capability. This one is so powerful, brick will explode in your face with chips flying off while you drill and actually makes the holes too big for Tapcon bits to grab. Use this drill when you need a hole through a wall, and want it quick. Hang on, pull the trigger, and watch it work wonders. The engineering and design of how this drill works amazes me. My hats off to Dewalt. It’s like no drill I have every used before. Like kids, my guys and customers pause to watch this drill work wonders on concrete every time we pull it out of the case. Unlike the standard general purpose hammer drills that require ear muffs and will deafen you, this baby is fairly quiet. The battery system is well thought out, but that’s for another review one day. You will not be disappointed in this drill. Just glad a stranger watching me work one day recommended trying his drill like this one.

This product works great for boring brick, mortar, and even stone. Paired with the proper bit, this hammer has assisted plenty of projects so far. Equipped with chisels, this hammer easily breaks apart mortar joints great for demolition. With this, it is durable, portable, and decently lightweight.
