Smaller than I thought. About the same size of the 3/8″ drive. However works as described. It is not the same as an air impact however at 150 Ft lbs the average vehicle at least as I remember is 90 ft lbs if the last person did not over torque the lug nuts it does work on them.

It’s a snap to use, and has really sped up my projects from home and garden to automotive to construction projects. Lag bolts to lug nuts (yes, really). Despite not being the high-torque version, this unit will back off a lug nut torqued to 110 pounds (but you do need to let it hammer for a moment to break it loose). I’ve done a ton of automotive work in the past with pneumatic impact guns, and I’d take this one any day of the week. Way more portable, you can sneak it into tight locations, no hose to drag around, plenty of torque for medium duty jobs and the LED lights on the snout are actually a real help. I find myself grabbing it to shine light on a spot for a moment in place of using a flashlight while I’m working.A well constructed tool and a pleasure to use. I wish I had this years ago! It’s saving me busted knuckles left and right. The only ‘con’ is the detent pin. It really grabs hold of the sockets (by design of course). Have a pin or small punch to push it in to release, or perhaps file the detent pin down a bit to round the profile for an easier release.

IT WORKS FOR ME IT’S REALLY LIGHTWEIGHT AND MANAGABLE. WORKS GREAT IF YOU’RE CHANGING A TIRE AT HOME. IT’S LIGHTER IN WEIGHT THAN THE BIGGER SIZE 1/2 INCH IMPACT WRENCH. I HAVE THE OTHER ONE AS WELL BUT I LIKE THIS ONE BETTER EASIER TO WORK WITH. THANKS DEWALT AND THE HOME DEPOT

This is my new go to tool for all of my automotive projects. Its light, compact, and packs a punch. Just be careful on smaller bolts/nuts, as I’ve sheared some rusted ones off, thus having to go back in a drill them out. Otherwise This thing is great, beats dragging an air hose or my plug in impact. Unless I’m needing my air impact, this has so far done all of the work without issue.
