The DCH293X2 20-Volt MAX XR Brushless 1-1/8 in. Rotary Hammer is a high-performance drill that is powered by a DEWALT brushless motor and durable German engineered mechanism that delivers 3.5 joules of impact energy. With its balanced design, SHOCKS Active Vibration Control, technology and Extreme Run Time, this hammer is ideally suited for all day use and large diameter hole drilling, even in the hardest concrete. The patented E-Clutch system provides enhanced control to the user in a bind up situation and can help minimize sudden torque reaction compared to standard clutches. The DCH293 is Dust Extraction ready for the D25304DH.

I have been using this for a year now and it has been perfect for framing in basements and adding drop in anchors into plates. Using both 5/16 and 1/2” bits it has no problem drilling through green plate and concrete. Hardly even slows down. Extremely handy and a major upgrade from having to pull a cord around (it seems to have the same power as a Bosch bulldog that I used to use). The biggest battery that fits this tool lasts a full basement for me (usually around 2.5k sqft) Love it and highly recommend!

this rotary hammer is a beast. i uprgraded to this one from the dch273 which is also a great tool but this one is a very noticable difference in power. it is also a little bigger and heavier however but it is a full size compared to the 273 being more of a compact rotary hammer. this has no problem at all drilling solid concrete or chiseling. 9ah battery also runs for long time. very impressed. this def replaces the need for a corded one as it is more powerful than many of them out there

Drills concrete like butter !! No problem stopping or bogging down . Makes short work of tapcons and anchoring systems . Only down side to a beast of a drill , is if being used all day for overhead applications , I would recommend the DCH 273 but if overhead isn’t a issued then hands down this drill

This tool worked so good that someone else wanted it and stole it from me. I used it on one job then it was stolen, I got it to replace a hilti that got stolen and it worked just as good as the hilti. I just wish I had a chance to use it more. I would buy another and when I get enough money will buy another one. This tool worked great, it has two large batteries and a fast charger.

Just wish I had bought this sooner. I drill 35 plus hole a day installing Tornado shelters. I have done up to 65 on one charge of the battery. Love the thought of no extension cords.
