Constant speed electronics allows the tool to maintain speed under load, even in the hardest concrete, while the patented E-Clutch system protects the user in bind up situations by stopping the rotation of the bit. This tool is ideally suited for horizontal and downward drilling for #5 to #9 rebar applications, core drilling up to 5 in. and chipping in any mid-to-lower wall and floor applications. this is an aggressive drill. love the 20v. if you use this to say drill out an entire house plumbing rough, just slip it into low so you don’t bust the clutch when you hit a nail. you will need the safety grip, it will toss you if you hit a nail. by the way I’m brutal on all my tools, and I love this hammer drill!
