Constant speed electronics allows the tool to maintain speed under load, even in the hardest concrete, while the patented E-Clutch system protects the user in bind up situations by stopping the rotation of the bit. You can put away your air wrench. Just finished disassembling a boat lift that had some very corroded bolts and had absolutely no problems. Since the lift was out of the water I opted to not use the detent pin in the socket hole. If you use the detent you will need to depress the pin in order to remove the impact socket. This thing is so powerful you need to be careful in tightening that you don’t twist the fastener off. The tool is heavy but boy will it do the job. Would definitely recommend this tool.

Works great. A lot of torque to remove rusted bolts. No hoses to trip over. The reverse switch is in an awkward spot as you can easily switch into neutral if you’re not careful. Other than that, its a work horse.

I bought this impact a while back and its been extremely useful. The only complain I have on it is that the bottom impact rubber protector (the one below the grip handle) doesn’t protect the battery. When the impact is laid down on its side, the top two rubber protectors do help but on the bottom side the battery makes contact with the surface before the rubber protector does. I have noticed that the battery fits loose and that is the cause of it.
