The DCH733X2 FLEXVOLT 1-7/8 in. SDS MAX Combination Hammer, with its durable and hard hitting German engineered mechanism, delivers category leading 13.3 J of impact energy. Constant speed electronics allows the tool to maintain speed under load, even in the hardest concrete, while the patented E-Clutch system protects the user in bind up situations by stopping the rotation of the bit. This tool is ideally suited for horizontal and downward drilling for #5 to #9 rebar applications, core drilling up to 5 in. and chipping in any mid-to-lower wall and floor applications. Active Vibration Control technology also reduces vibration felt by the user for less fatigue and greater productivity. This tool comes Tag Ready, so users and companies can attach the DEWALT Tag and track its location virtually anywhere via the DEWALT Tool Connect app. For a limited time get a bonus Bare Cordless Impact Wrench with purchase.
- Most powerful cordless rotary hammer, powered by the DEWALT 60-Volt MAX brushless motor, generating 13.3 J of impact energy
- Addition to the integral clutch, the DEWALT anti-rotation E-Clutch system, offers technology capable of detecting the motion of the tool, this feature senses the motion of the tool and shuts it down if necessary, the red indicator LED illuminates when the E-Clutch system is engaged
- Tool maintains speed under heavy loads, including in higher psi concrete, allowing the user to get the job done faster
- Gives users the ability to drill and demolish concrete in 1 tool, saving them money by not needing to buy and maintain 2 tools
- Same durable mechanism used on the corded 1-7/8 in. SDS MAX rotary hammer
- Protects user from the effects of vibration, including numbness and tingling in the hands, allowing them to get work done more quickly without fatigue
- Offers users more control by adjusting speed of drilling or chipping based upon the thickness and density of the material they are working with
- Service light near the handle notifies the user when it’s time to take the tool in for service
- 1,350 BPM to 2,705 BPM

Very powerful excellent tool, I use it a lot. Great tool

More power than my air impact wrench, which I don’t think I’ll ever use again
Chasity Beer (verified owner) –
Ridiculous amount of power. Beats the air powered impacts at my work!

the dewalt cordless impact driver has a lot of power, 20v battery lasts a long timetool is a little heavy (it has to be to give this much power) but easy to learn to balance and easy to use.it would be nice if it has a tool bag with it (won’t fit in bag with combo tool set)

After 3 years of use, my old Porter Cable had lost a step. It no longer had enough torque to remove a lug nut. So it was given to my 7 year old, and I ordered this Dewalt. It showed up at my door in a couple of days, and has not stopped working since. Let me say I am impressed. The only lug nuts it has not been able to remove, no other impact would either. Not even my big IR air gun. This impact is used almost daily. Recently I swapped the engine in my work truck and this thing was pushed for hour at a time, and never failed. As a matter of fact the only complaint I have is that with the big battery is it heavy after several hours of use, it is a good workout though. If you need a good cordless impact this is the one for you.

I bought this tool to keep in my truck for tough tasks such as lug and bolt removal for my truck and trailers. Although I have the impact driver and folks say it can perform these task. I on the otherhand believe it to be tool abuse. I’d rather have more power on a tool then needed to work at ease than to have close enough power to work my tool to the bone. Take care of your tools and your tools will take care of you.

Works great on rusted fasteners

I bought this for the sole purpose of breaking loose 4×4 axle pinion nuts. This thing executed flawlessly in seconds against what I couldn’t do in two hours of jury-rigged breaker bar heaving. This tool is a must-have if you are swapping driveshafts or doing gear work.

Had this impact wrench for over a year now and it’s still going strong. I’ve always used Porter Cable power tools and find them to be very good tools for the price. Naturally when time came for me to upgrade to a higher quality impact, I went with Dewalt. I’ll start by saying this impact wrench is as good as it gets in terms of build quality, handling, ergonomics, power, torque, and range of features. I know a lot of folks hail from the Milwaukee camp, but I can say with confidence Dewalt is a better thought-out engineered impact wrench. For example, the power on the 3 modes are equally distributed, meaning mode 2 is twice the power of mode 1, and mode 3 is twice the power of mode 2. So if mode 1 is at 100%, then mode 2 would be around 200%, and mode 3 at around 400%. This even power/torque distribution across the 3 modes is what makes this impact wrench so well engineered. What you don’t want is sudden power spikes. I’m going to straight call out the Milwaukees 2767 impact wrench for having an uneven power output where mode 1 and 2 are pretty much useless but then mode 3 goes full-on max Thor Hammer! After using the Dewalt and comparing it to other brands, I can confidently say that it has more finesse and control. The elctronics controlling the power output works beautifully. The feel of this tool is quality, well built, hefty and powerful but not in anyway a hinderance to the job. It’s big but not bulky, powerful but not brutal, heavy but not debilitating. Another thing I like about the Dewalt is how the brushless motor spins quieter and more refined than the Milwaukee. With the Milwaukee 2767, you do feel power when the motor spins (with no load) but it’s an uncontrolled raw kind of power. To be fair, some people might prefer that. They might like the “macho-ness” of Milwaukee’s brute force because it impresses a certain kind of user. Having said that, I personally prefer the sophisticated finesse of the Dewalt. And don’t let Dewalt’s 1,200 ft./lbs of breakaway torque mislead you because its little less than Milwaukee’s 1,400 ft./lbs nut busting torque. This Dewalt delivers what it promises and more! I have both the Dwalt and Milwaukee impact wrenches and I use them side by side and they are equally powerful at mode 3 max torque. There’s nothing the Dewalt can’t bust loose – lug nuts, brake pads and rotors, crank shafts, CV axles, contral arms, ball joints, wheel bearings, etc, etc., you name it. I highly recommend this Dewalt impact wrench if you care to have something more than just pure unadulterated power, which it has plenty!

This is a brute, heavy, and powerful. When you pull the trigger the torque is immediately felt. You can not hold it without it torquing over. Love it.
