Bought it because of some thick and dense shrubs. This trimmer has 3/4″ cutting blades which handled the workload very well and battery remained strong the entire 2 1/2 hours of trimming. Best to buy the package (battery & charger) if you don’t already have Dewalt 20v eco system. Only complaint is trimmer did not come with sheath to cover and protect the blades when in storage or transit. Took some effort to find sheath; eventually found it on Dewalt web site. Cost about as much to ship as the price of the sheath itself. Com’ on Dewalt, would be nice to include the sheath as part of the entire package. It’s a piece of folded dense plastic weighing less than a pound.
