I had to install drywall on my own using a drywall hoist. Without these tools it was a pain and was taking forever, especially the ceiling. Once I had the screw gun (with collated attachment I bought separately) hanging from my side with the included belt clip, I was able to position the drywall, reach down, then screw it in place all with my weak hand and focus still on the drywall sheet to make sure it didn’t shift on me. Being able to cut out the outlet boxes using the cutout tool while the sheet was in place saved me so much time and guess work, I never want to drywall again without these tools. I like the thoughtfulness of including a battery for each tool so they’re both ready to go as you work. Some might say yea but they’re the little batteries. My response is, these batteries didn’t die on me once and the lower weight aided with control of both tools throughout a day’s work in my opinion. I use the bigger batteries for things like circular saws that cut in a straight line and aren’t being used one-handedly above your head or hanging from your belt. The bag is real nice quality and has enough room for everything in the combo plus the collated attachment so you can have all your drywall power tools in one spot.

This two tool combination is great for doing drywall work. The screw gun has multiple settings on it, to ensure that the screw goes to the depth that you want. It works on a clutch principal, which disengages when the setting is reached to prevent any damage or driving beyond what you have set it at. The tool fits ergonomically in either the left or the right hand and is easy to operate. The tool has an aimed light to help illuminate the immediate work area. The 20V battery easily locks in and is not too heavy on the tool.The cut out tool also fits ergonomically in either the left or right hand. It is easy to operate. Several functions help keep your bit secure and guide the tool on its work. This tool is also illuminated to put light directly on the work area. The 20V battery easily locks in and is not too heavy on the tool.The kit comes with a carry bag in Dewalt colors, a charger, and two Lithium Ion 20V 2Amp Batteries.Overall, very satisfied.I rate these tools 5*s out of 5. This is definitely the best ¼ impact driver I’ve used. The first 1 I had for 2 years and used it off and on probably 50-75 times in those 2 years then 3 weeks ago I used it to drive over 500 screws while building a Trex deck and that’s what seemed to do it in. It still worked but wouldn’t hold onto the bits anymore and it got very frustrating when they would fall out, so I went and bought another one. I’d recommend this tool to anyone.

Good but not great.Three speeds, yes, but the “precision” speed has very little torque. I actually took the first one back thinking the driver was defective. That’s not to say the tool has no torque – it certainly does and you need to make sure it doesn’t jump out of your hand using the third speed. First speed will seldom if ever drive a screw flush to the surface. Bump up to the second speed, you end up driving the screw right through the work piece. Yeah, trigger control works, but a definite experience cure to overcome. If Dewalt could have distributed the torque differently (and more evenly) between the three speeds, this driver could have earned a better rating.
