- The DCF887 20-Volt MAX 1/4 in. impact driver is compact (5.3 in. front to back) and designed to fit into tight areas

Needed to drill holes in brick to hang shutters. Hammer drill handled the task with ease. Also extended a pressure treated deck, screwed down the top deck. Plenty of power.

The brushes drill has more power than the brushed drill but the Chuck can lock closed under heavy use. I had to use a pipe wrench to remove the drill bit which damaged the Chuck. You have to disassemble the drill to replace the Chuck. The left hand screw is no longer used in the brushles drill version.

I purchased this combo kit to assist with installing my fence on a property I was selling. The tools worked better than any of my previous battery operated tools!Only issue I had was the bit attachment stopped spinning, but a warranty repair will correct that.
