Good ergonomics. Vacuum could be stronger but not bad. Nice that it plugs in as well as uses a battery. The upgrade from Ryobi is absolutely noticeable. Batteries last longer and just more torque and more solid, with better control.

So far I only use the drill. It is quite. It is a little bit less powerful than my old one (same brand same drill but Nicd battery). Also, this newer version lost the drill bit holder when my old one has two drill bit holders. It is very inconvenience. I like the belt hook though.

I usually don’t shop home depot very much, but Home depot is the only place I could find that had this combo kit that I was specifically looking for. It was fairly priced as well. This set is a must have! The drill was a bit over kill for me, a standard duty one would do it but for the price of the massive upgraded drill, the pair of batteries, charger so now I can charge 2 batteries at once and the reciprocating saw, I couldn’t buy the two tools alone with the down graded version drill for that price. The tools are very strong, battery lasts for what feels like almost forever before needing charged. I wish it had a fast charge but that’s a personal preference. By no means would I ever knock a single star off of this rating.

I received this drill and reciprocating saw for free to write this review.This is a really useful combo kit. Most of the kits include the drill and the impact driver. I rarely use the impact driver, but find the reciprocating saw super useful with a pruning blade. The reciprocating saw is perfect for trimming bushes and trimming trees. This kit would make any dad happy as a gift.The only downside to this kit is that it comes with the slower charger. The other kits come with a faster charger that includes more amps and a cooling fan. Given the good sized batteries you probably don’t need the faster charger but it would be nice for a bigger job if you are using the saw a lot.

We replaced our old DeWalt tools with these and we are VERY happy. We use them mostly for fence repair on our property which a constant activity with horses. Both of these tools worked great for me when I did some fence work. The battery is easy to change out not at all fussy like the old ones could get and the tools have great power. The case is big enough for me to put together a ‘fence repair kit’ with everything I need so I can grab and go. Could not be happier with these tools. My husband used them the other day for the first time and he is equally as happy.
