I purchased this in 2020 and have zero regrets. Like most Dewalt bundles, the savings are great buying kits like these. I use these tools for auto detailing, IT work and everything around the house. The rapid charger is great too. That Flexvolt battery is rather large so I did purchase a couple smaller ones. When out in the field working I never worry about draining a full battery. Build quality is solid on these tools. It just comes down to personal preference whether you choose Dewalt or other similar brands.

The impact driver is great, charger and batteries as well. The issue is with the hammer drill. Two areas that it fails compared to my last DeWalt and or similar drills. One is the horrible chuck/clutch. This thing feels like it just dies when the clutch setting is reached and its awful to chuck anything in the drill without road rash on your hand. I’ve known much better from DeWalt for years and would expect them to improve on great products going forward. Unfortunately, this seems like it was their first attempt at a keyless chuck and a drill with a clutch on it.This is also the loudest (most obnoxious) drill I have ever heard. I really hate using it anywhere others are working because everyone stops when you pull the trigger on this thing. It has good power so far but design and functional feature are lacking tremendously!

I purchased in March 2020. The base of the grip on the impact driver broke within a few months albeit after being dropped. It still drives the heck out of 3″ deck screws so I still use it. The drill was never used very much but I was boring 1/2″ holes the other day and burnt out something and now that doesn’t work. I ask a lot of my tools. Maybe I will try the m18 series. I just feel for the price I paid that maybe it would have lasted longer.
