The DCK299M2 Cordless Power Tool Combo Kit is ideal for most drilling, hammering, and fastening applications. This brushless drill/driver set includes a DCF887 cordless impact driver and a DCD996 cordless hammer drill. The 1/4 in. impact driver provides 1,825 in./lbs. of maximum torque at fast 0 RPM to 3,250 RPM speeds. It can make 0 to 3,600 impacts per minute. The 1/2 in. hammer drill has three speeds, and all-metal transmission, and a 3-mode LED light. Both these cordless power tools are compact, lightweight, and fit easily into tight areas. This cordless power tool combo kit also includes two 4.0 Ah Lithium Ion battery packs and a charger.

- DCD996B is a compact hammer drill just 8.4 in. long and lightweight at 4.7 lbs. so you can get into tight areas easily

The tools are great, however home depot’s methods of shipping are not. They sent them in the original box which shouts IM EXPENSIVE to anyone who sees them, in my case it was the FedEx driver who was tempted into trying to keep them. Least Home depot can do is put any delivery over 100.00 in a nondescript box. If I hadn’t drove around looking for the FedEx truck I’d have been a victim, because I never would have been refunded my money since the driver said he left the package next to my front door. Even though it was clearly under his seat when I found him, I’ll never have anything from Home Depot delivered again, pick up from store only if at all.

I had to buy this set to replace my drill I burned up the motor, so this was a new set for me first time using a hammer drill it’s doing okay the three settings on the drill itself I like it is neither ranges that I need to do my project so if you’re looking for a drill is brushless I have no complaints at this time for it and I like the three settings that has in the large battery capabilities, so if you want to check with them six months I can let you know how about the rest of how things are going for it but at this point no complaints to thumbs up.

Hammer drill and impact are powerful! So far, I’ve used the drill for concrete and drilling a steel beam both with ease. Impact works with ease and a good amount of torque, actually snapped some tapcons. Nice to have 3 speed settings on each and the longer flashlight option on the hammer drill is cool. Bought this to replace a 10 year old makita hammer drill and impact (hammer drill burnt up finally). Definitely met all expectations so far. Hopefully they’re as durable as the makita’s and I have faith they will be. Battery charger is finicky, I have to plug and unplug the battery numerous times to get it to charge sometimes. Other than that, great products!
