The DCK299M2 Cordless Power Tool Combo Kit is ideal for most drilling, hammering, and fastening applications. This brushless drill/driver set includes a DCF887 cordless impact driver and a DCD996 cordless hammer drill. The 1/4 in. impact driver provides 1,825 in./lbs. of maximum torque at fast 0 RPM to 3,250 RPM speeds. It can make 0 to 3,600 impacts per minute. The 1/2 in. hammer drill has three speeds, and all-metal transmission, and a 3-mode LED light. Both these cordless power tools are compact, lightweight, and fit easily into tight areas. This cordless power tool combo kit also includes two 4.0 Ah Lithium Ion battery packs and a charger.

- DCD996B is a compact hammer drill just 8.4 in. long and lightweight at 4.7 lbs. so you can get into tight areas easily

I bought this kit to upgrade from 18v kit I had and let me tell you I was surprised! The rubberized texture gives an awesome grip to match the power these have. The only downfall of the hammer drill was the plastic side handle. I would have liked it to be metal but I won’t use it that often so I will not drop my rating for this kit. The multiple speeds on the impact driver is a nice added touch when you don’t want to strip out holes but still need to pack a little punch. I would definitely make this purchase all over again.
