Dewalt is not the cheapest, but it always does the job and holds up well. I have used all the tools in this kit and love them all. Power is never a problem; infact the impact driver has taken the heads off screws and snapped the tips off of phillips head bits. Battery life is the best I have seen. Far better than my old 18 volt Dewalt. Highly recomended.

The tools are great for overall construction. The batteries have a long life and charge reasonably fast. I really like the battery indicator. The driver has no clutch, so it is not suitable for delicate work, only for 2×4’s and the like. I attached a hollow plastic tube trellis to a 2×4 and did not stop in time and the driver drove the screw head through the plastic tube, so I had to switch to an older drill with a clutch. I don’t use if to hang window shades on frames for that reason. You also have to be careful when toe nailing, the driver can push the screw so far that the head gets buried and maybe cracks the end of the 2×4. The drill is powerful and allows me to do things like screw an auger into hard clay ground. Its easy to use the circular saw to cut pressure treated 4×4 with 2 cuts (one from each side). The tools are reasonably light for their power. I especially like that there are many tools you can get for the 20v lithium battery. I also have a string trimmer and intend to get the blower.
