The DCS381 Reciprocating Saw with keyless blade clamp allows for quick blade changes. The DCD771 Drill/Driver has a high-speed transmission with 2 speeds (0 RPM-450 RPM and 1,500 RPM) for a range of fastening and drilling applications. The DCF885 Impact Driver has 3 LEDs with a 20-second delay after the trigger is released for increased visibility. The DCG412 Grinder is equipped with an 8,000 RPM motor for multiple grinding and cutting applications. The DCS356 3-speed selector allows users to choose their speed setting based on application. After purchasing this kit, I did some research and determined that buying just the tools that I needed (instead of a kit) was the better way to go. I got better tools (still DeWalt) for a better price, without the things that I didn’t need (namely the impact driver). Kits are a nice idea, but it would be nice if DeWalt didn’t add extra tools that just drive up the price. I also found it frustrating that in each kit there’s usually one tool that’s from their lower-end line. It would be nice to keep the tools in a kit all about the same. After returning this kit I did buy DeWalt tools and think they’re great. I use them all the time and haven’t had a single problem. I’d recommend the brand and give the tools themselves a higher rating, but just not this kit for the price. I did learn my lesson about reading through all of the part numbers, just a little later than I should have.

Very impressed with this sander. It made quick work of and exterior door that I was going to paint. Ergos feel great and worked like a champ. Now, to add a dust extractor to it for easier clean up.

It was actually doing great, then the second time I used it the band broke under the pad, just haven’t had a chance to return it. I had hope for 140.00 it would at least have one with it being as though, no tool bag battery or charger, a little dissatisfied, I own all Dewalt also

Overall, very happy with the purchase. The dust-catcher is a nice feature, and the sander does a great job on surfaces. The only frustrating design element is the on/off switch — the switch is shrouded by a rubber covering, which can make it challenging to acquire if you want to quickly turn the tool off. It’s a good tool, but I would have personally liked to see a trigger-style on/off button similar to other DeWalt designs.

Have used this alot and does a great job. Pros and cons to having it battery operated. I like the flexabilty of not messing around with a power cord, but I go through batterys really quickly… I dont know if the sander drains the battery really quickly or if i need to buy new batterys! I like the setting to change power output from low to more powerful.
