This 20-Volt Max String Trimmer kit is a value-filled combo to tackle your outdoor projects. This bundle includes a string trimmer, blower and extra battery pack. The DEWALT 20-Volt Max Brushless String Trimmer (DCST920P1) provides precise power control with a variable speed trigger as well as performance and run time management with the High/Low speed control switch. The trimmer has comfortable weight and very low vibration! I wish it had a larger string size. It is .080 and wish it was .095 to last longer. When bumping it out it releases a little more then needed. The battery life on low is about the same as 1/2 tank of gas. The blower does ok but could use a smaller tube tip option!

Bought this combo to replace two gas powered high-end units. So far I have been pleasantly surprised. They are both so much lighter and easier to handle. Both the trimmer and blower are very well balanced. I’m 6 feet tall and the trimmer is easy to use without having to stoop over. The blower is also sized right. Both take up less space in my garage. I have a standard subdivision sized lot. I can trim and blow off around my whole house on a single battery if I get with it and don’t piddle around. I plan on purchasing an extra battery in the late spring just so I’ll be safe. While this combo might not have the brute power of a gas unit, It has more than enough muscle to do what I need it to. The only thing I wish it had was a tapered nozzle to fit the blower. I think that would possibly increase the velocity and you would be able to be more direct with your blowing than just a wide area. All in all very satisfied.

Have had these two for about two years, and they are my most used Dewalt products. The string trimmer is incredibly easy to throw a battery on and go. I used to avoid trimming because of the hassle of getting gas and oil for the trimmer, dealing with chokes and busted pull cords. Now I actually enjoy going out before I mow and knock down all the weeds. The blower was a great item to pair, because it works very awesome for getting grass clippings Of the driveway, and blowing the weeds I whacked into the mower path for cleanup. I’ve used it for a variety of other tasks as well: leaf blowing a small lot, spreading sand over the patio bricks, blowing dirt out of the garage, sometimes blowing a light, powdery snow off the sidewalk. I’ve also used it for playtime. It makes for a great bubble blower, and ballpit ball launcher on the trampoline. All in all it’s been my best Dewalt purchase.

Great value package. Batteries last about 45 mins to 1 hour at full use. Recharge time is less than 1hour. Extra batteries go on sale regularly so you can have two or three in rotation so the work does not get slowed down.
