I have been comparing it to a $40 flash light with a USB port to charge my phone so far its as bright as the $40 flashlight but its larger with no USB port to charge my phone. One perk is it uses the batteries from my Dewalt equipment which are always around and charged so its ready for an emergency. Downside is its bulky and over sized for its function. Yes I get its not fair to compar a spot light to a flash light but the flashlight is smaller and doing the same work then some as the spotlight. Yes the $40 flashlight out preformed the Dewalt flashlights like it was nothing. Would I recommend this spotlight yeah it gets the job done, but youre paying extra for the ability to use the Dewalt batteries.

Good light many uses beside work illumination, ex tent yard for special event or emergency, room if power fails, point at ceiling, for any reason. High power 1push of button, lower 2nd push must keep reminding your self otherwise great item to have on hand.

I received this two weeks ago, looking for compact light for sheetrocking spackling painting. The amount of light it throws was fantastic, small lightweight three settings and adjustable direction. Easily lights up a small room, powerful, would suggest a minimum 3.0 amp battery though for any continual use
