Great little light weight mower! setup/adjustments/starting all very simple and well thought out. Only 1 issue is the two 5.0aH included batteries are definitely not enough power, this mower should include flexvolt batteries even if the price was bumped a little. Small issue aside, if you are already into the 20v lineup with some extra batteries on hand this is a great addition to the collection to go along with the trimmer and get rid of those gas cans

I have a small yard and the batteries barely made it through the cut. I have Bermuda grass and the mower struggled at times. Going to try a couple of Flexvolt batteries next time hoping that makes a difference.

The lawnmower itself is great, but the batteries supplied with it are only capable of mowing a small front yard ( 74 sq. M or 800 sq. ft.) with moderate growth on a single charge. I grew tired of that quickly and purchased two 60V 6.0ah batteries for an additional $300.00 which puts the lawnmower at a much higher price point. I have many other DeWalt tools and so this isn’t such an impact but I feel as though DeWalt is aware of this issue and could do a direct to the consumer version with the increased battery capacity for better value. Five stars for performance …three stars for the hassle.

I have been impressed with the lawn mower. I had done my in depth review and comparisson. The number one bad review was the amount of time the batteries give you to mow. To me that wasnt an important review since you should alredy know that small Ah would not last as long but i can assure you that two 9Ah batteries lasted me more than enough to mow the front and back 3000sq. Quality is great and sturdy. The best part of the mower is how light and portable and ease to store in the garage. My suggestion is if you havent alredy and are able too purchase the 60v flexvolt blower and 60v string trimmer that come included with a 9Ah battery and purchase yhe 3 Ah battery pish lawn mower to save some money. Overall i am more than please with my purchase and cant wait till the 12Ah batteries come with the mower.

Works as advertised. Easy to assemble and to use. I was able to use other Dewalt larger capacity batteries (from my other 20 Volt MAX) tools in this mower. I would have rated this five stars, but the only issue is that the batteries that come with it are not interchangeable with other Dewalt 20 Volt MAX tools. The batteries that come with the mower have tabs which are molded into the body of the battery casing, preventing a user to installing them in other Dewalt tools such as a weed whacker. Bad design.

Would be a great mower if it came with larger batteries. We have a small lawn in front (45′ x 30′) and an even smaller one at the back (30′ x 20′). It will only just mow the front, not both. If the battery cycle drops at all – as I’m sure it will with time – it won’t complete the front lawn. Apart from the batteries it’s built well, cuts well, stores nicely upright in the garden shed. That’s why I’m giving it 3 stars.

Mower should not have a safety engagement key because it’s not needed and if it gets lost, your stuck. Love the mower. Lightweight and easy to handle.

I purchased this mower 6 months ago, and have no complaints. I love that I can store it in an upright position which takes up less foot print than your standard mower, and no more having to purchase gas, oil, and air filters. Another huge plus is the ease of use when adjusting cutting height. I can usually cut my front yard (32′ x 25′) on two 5ah batteries. I already owned the DeWalt String Trimmer, Hedger, and Blower so this was the perfect choice. Very pleased with this purchase and I recommend it.

Cuts well, the only issue is battery life. The 5AH batteries provided with the mower don’t make it past 20 minutes at the most.

After a few weeks and a couple of goes at cutting the lawn, i do have to say i’m pleasantly surprised at the performance of the mower. If there is a complaint to have its the 5ah batteries are kind of small. I happen to have 2 9ah (60v Flex) which makes me want to give it 5 stars because those are large enough to cut the whole lawn where the 5ah seems to come up a little short in my couple of runs. The mower is light and easy to fold up and stow away. The first day i felt like it was a toy and I was going to break it, but really thats because the weight is so low without a gas motor on there, but otherwise the instrument seems as well built (maybe better) than out 18 YO craftsman gas mower, so i hope it will last just as long.

Easy to unpack and run. Problems: The 2 batteries do not supply power to more then 30 minutes of mowing before recharge is needed. Also the ‘Power Safety Key’ has much trouble installing. I recommend the Power Safety Key be left installed and never removed once you plug it in correctly.

Very convenient, light, fairly quiet and easy to use. Sure nice not having to gas and pull start. Gave 4 not 5 as my yard is small and when grass long, I have to change out batteries (not a big deal as have many Dewalt batteries). The one lever height setting is nice, but sometimes catches on trees and mower drops
