It does eat battery power so make sure you have charger ready and extra batteries available.

I’ve used this mower over the summer. It has a lot of power and cuts very well. It does go through batteries like there’s no tomorrow, so I recommend having an extra pair of long amp hour batteries if you have much of a yard. I got tired of having issues w/ a gas powered mower that came with a cheap carburetor that kept clogging. Now I have a reliable mower that works great!

lightweight for small, hilly areas. Easy operating. Goes with my other Dewalt tools.

Already put together, all I had to do was put on handle and hang the bag.My yard is small, I can mow it twice on a single charge.Has good power and like the front suspension wheels.I run all Dewalt battery products and this is built as well as any of their battery products

I’ve owned this 2 months and used it 5X. I put 2 60 flexvolt 9ah batteries in itand cut about 5k sq ft of grass. I use the bagger and empty it 7 times. Overall takes about an hour, and I use up almost both batteries. Without using the bagger and stoping and starting it multiple times the batteries last longer.

If you already own the flexvolt battery system then look no farther. This is the mower you want. It’s really annoying to see bad reviews on such a fantastic product. If your going to give a bad review on run time then review the battery, not this mower! The mower is the best I’ve ever used but it is power hungry. So again this is a great mower if you plan on using flex batts.

Runs great as advertised. Not going to do a massive yard.

Cuts great and can mow plenty of yard with the supplied batteries. Those that complain about lack of power and/or can’t mow a lawn with it are probably trying to mow thick, overgrown lawns. If you maintain a normal yard this is awesome. Now my son and mother are also mowing the lawns. I was extremely worried it would not live up to the Dewalt brand based on all of the negative reviews. Love it and would buy it again!

Easy to use and operate and uses same batteries as my other Dewalt tools.

Probably the best mower I have ever owned. Tons of power and never bogs down.

I’ve only owned this lawnmower for about 1 month and so far it has worked great. The only reason I’m not giving a 5 star review is because the battery life very poor. Besides that, I do recommend this lawnmower for small lawn owners.

this mower is excellent, very light and powerful. feels like half the weight as a gas mower. no more hard starts and gas jugs! only draw back is battery drain is fast and cant mow very long on a full charge, dont know what it will be like in a year or two, will i have to buy expensive batteries?

Makes a good cut. The 5.0 Ah batteries don’t last very long. I had to buy multiple other batteries to do my lawn. Also I had to open up the handle to reconnect the wire running to the motor.

Works as advertised, cuts good, battery life is good

This mower works as well as my gas powered mower. I can mow 3/4 of my lawn with the 5ah batteries provided. With one charger provided it can take some time to recharge and finish the lawn. I own DeWalt power tools so I switch to my 3ah batteries to finish. The light weight of the unit is a plus for an older person such as myself.

This mower was easy to assemble, lightweight, and perfect for small area. The batteries will last around a hour.

cuts very well. Exactly what I expected it to do.

After three months, the performance of the lawnmower is great! It’s only as loud as a fan running and very light to push around. I only gave it (3) stars because of the longevity of the batteries. In my opinion, the 5.0 batteries shouldn’t even be offered with this mower. I have a 1/3 acre lot and only use this for trimming around the house and trees and it barely gets it done. Just to see how long these batteries would last, I attempted to mow my small front yard (Appx. 80′ x 45′) and although is was close, the batteries couldn’t complete the task. The charger only has capacity for one battery, so it’s a couple of hours before I could resume mowing. So as much as I do like this mower, DeWalt really doesn’t deserve a passing grade with these batteries.
