This mower was everything I expected and the cutting quality exceeded my expectations. Upgraded to 9amp batteries and get the whole yard done with 4 charged 9amp/5amp combo

My yard is small and the batteries last just long enough. I have no concerns about small sticks damaging the deck with it’s metal construction. The power is plenty for average cutting. However I would not recommend this size battery option for an average to large yard.

I bought this mower over a year ago and have found it to have the same classic reliability of all the DeWalt products I have purchased to date. The solid metal deck and portability (light to carry, easy take down and front handle) were the key features to me. Additionally, the 20V batteries I already had on hand made this a no-brainer. The mulching insert is a nice add-on when you don’t need to bag your clippings as well. Perfect for small to medium yards when you are already invested in DeWalt’s 20V battery platform. If you have a larger yard, you are going to need some 60V Flex batteries or multiple 20V at 5Ah or more. Due to my current investment in the 20V/60V Flex battery platform, it would be nice to see DeWalt get into a snowblower in addition to the high quality blowers and string trimmers they have on the market.

I use Dewalt tools, If you do chances are you have batteries and chargers. The mower did everything I expected…. cutting tall grass, ease of use, stand-up storage & ruffly 25mins run time. I chose the 20v over the 60v because to lose 2/5ah batteries for $200 more didn’t make sense to me. Instead I picked up a 20v 2/6ah sale online Home Depot for $130. I used 2/4ah batteries and cut 2400sqft just to try it. My total yard is around 4000sqft I use Dewalt trimmer and blower both came with 60v 9ah.

Mower was easy to assemble and fairly easy to operate. It does not propel itself, so you need to be able to move it around yourself. Also, the battery does not last long and recharging takes all day. Other than that, it’s a decent mower and is great for small yards.

I bought this in April 2020 for my 70 year old wife to be able to mow the yard without having to mess with gasoline and pulling a rop to start the mower. Sounds great!! The problem is she can”t get the batteries out of the lawn mower to recharge them. When pressing the release button on the batteries they will not release. Any ideas?

Purchased as a gift for my son in law I have owned this mower for 1 1/2 years and it’s great. Cam mow my yard several times on a single charge and mower picks up debris on lawn better than my previous black and decker battery mower did.

I love this tool, the lawn mower is excellent for small areas. If you expect to mow your pasture, this is not for you, but for regular size backyard this is a life saver. It has plenty of power on the 2 20V batteries, it is light weight and easy to maneuver. I really like to fold and stand feature for storing. I would highly recommend this lawn mower, especially to people with smaller yards. It is worth the investment. And if you need longer run time, you can get a bigger battery.I do agree that dual charger would be a great addition to the tool, since it runs on 2 batteries. But if you have more than 1 tool, you usually have more than one charger.
