Amazing mower. Plenty of power and runtime when paired with the 9ah flex volt batteries. Bagger does an excellent job of collecting everything and the machine is light and nimble enough not to need any drive wheels.

I have used this mower 3 times and love it so far! I haven’t charged it yet either. I use it to get where my lawn tractor can’t go, about 15 min. of mowing each time. I have thick Bermuda grass. I will charge it for next use as it is on 1 light on rh battery. The ,ore is very light and I don’t notice the lack of self propel. Neither do my boys. Great manicured cut as well, I only use mulching mode.Pricey, but the extra batteries will work well with my numerous other dewalt tools. Great job Dewalt!P.S. Glad you guys went with the larger batteries instead of the 5 AH ones it was originally introduced with.

Lawn mower worked just as well as gas. Very pleased with battery life. Was able to complete cutting yard with power to spare.

I have used it only once and so far I don’t have pros or cons about it only that it’s from Dewalt and I have confidence in them but once I use it more I’ll share my thoughts about it

Amazing power, with the light weight my wife needed to be able to help me in the yard! Well worth the price! I would purchase 9 or 12 aoh batteries, 6 aoh batteries will disappate to quickly!

Quiet, lightweight, rear discharge not the greatest, I’m not used to it. I have a small yard, and it works great for me

Great mower. Powerful yet quiet. Much better performance than our old cordless mower.

Long run time, lots of power!

Works just like we expected. The major issue is that it pusher harder than the previous battery powered mower. I will work on greasing the wheels and maybe check out ball bearing wheels if I can’t make it roll easier.

Was skeptical at first…but after using for several weeks, I’m very pleased with this mower. No issues whatsoever.

I have 400 sq ft of lawn in the back & 150 sq ft of lawn in the front of my home. The back yard is level & the front has some slight ups & downs. I mowed front & back crisscrossing the lawns twice. The mower cut well & the batteries were still on 3 bars when I was done! Cons: * They obviously made an effort to reduce weight. For example; the flap covering the discharge opening is quite thin and it will not stay open by itself like my Craftsman gas mower did. So, it is a 2 handed operation when removing or attaching the clippings bag. * The cutting height adjustment while easy to use could have more notches, & less spaced out, for ‘fine tuning’ the cutting height. * Admittedly, I was spoiled using a self propelled gas mower. This mower requires a little muscle especially in tall grass. It’s not bad but I would not want to use on any kind of hill. Conclusion:I’m concerned over the longevity of some of the plastic parts, disappointed over the cutting height adjustment & 2 handed basket removal. However, I have other cordless DeWalt lawn tools (hedge trimmer, blower, string trimmer) & have had good luck with them. I expect (hope) their lawnmower will holdup long term.

I have been using it for a while now, it cuts great.I have 80000 square feet of lawn, the 9 Amp-hour Batteries still have 2 bars left. The one lever height adjustment is great, can switch on the fly.The best part is no fluids to spill.I stand it up as soon as I am done and clean the grass from the bottom.Love it……

We’ve mowed our postage-stamp sized yard 3 times before charging the batteries, so that part exceeded our expectations. We had a really nice Makita cordless back in the early 2000’s which was a super good mower but when the batteries failed after a couple of years we went back to the fossil-fuel mower. The DeWalt was surprisingly loud compared to the Maikta, but given the steel deck, (which we wanted) it is still not as loud as the gas mower. Catch bag is a bit small, but we mulch after the first mowing. The only negative is a squeaky wheel. Not sure if it’s an axle or something else, but will investigate and contact DeWalt when I figure it out. The only “user” issue is the thin bar you hold when operating. The easy fix was to wear gloves:) Batteries are ez to install, remove and charge. I have a set of Dewalt cordless power tools that have interchangeable batteries, so that was a major factor in making this buy. We bought on-line and picked-up at the store. A bit funky there because they brought out an open-boxed unit, which they replaced on the spot, but still a bit of a hassle to go into the store, blah, blah, blah. In the end, all is good, it cuts the grass and we like it fine.

I have only used the mower once, but it worked like a charm. Free delivery to my doorstep was perfect. Assembly was easy. It is lighter to push than a gasoline mower, but just a powerful. The bagger works great. The batteries were only partly depleted after mowing for 45 minutes. AND no gasoline, no yanking on a starter cord! These batteries fit other DeWalt tools so I will not need to purchase additional batteries for future purchases of cordless electric tools in the DeWalt lineup.

The lawn mower did a good job the first time, however, the second time out it would not run. I tried several sets of my Dewalt batteries but no help. Wiggled the safety key; toggled the start button and bailing lever but no help. I reread the manual, but no insight to the problem. Returned with no problem. Also, it would be nice if it had a higher cut setting.

Shipping was late….. weeks late. I was ready passed about that. But the mower and having the larger batteries has been great. A side note, Home Depot is the only retailer I could get the battery upgrade. So someone at corporate is doing a great job reading reviews!!!!!

Easy to set up, very quiet, battery powered which is awesome. I cut both my front and back yard yesterday without having to change/charge the batteries. Bonus not to have to buy fuel. The cordless whipper snipper is also a great investment and addition to your Dewalt collection

An option for self propelled may have uped my rating.
