Yes it worked as expected and even better then I had hoped.

Fantastic framing nailer! If you go into it with the expectation that it won’t shoot as quickly as a pneumatic framing nailer you won’t be disappointed. It does extremely well for what it is. It is really nice to not have to lug around an air compressor and deal with hose!

Hurricane Sally destroyed my mom’s old privacy fencing around her house. The local companies want a fortune to replace it. Decided to replace it slowly over the next several weekends myself to save some serious money. She has nearly 600′ in total to be replaced. Bought this to make life easier on me. Was a little hesitant due to the cost, and a few bad reviews. However, this thing is awesome. Yes it isn’t as powerful as pneumatic, and not as fast. However it’s more than adequate for anything a non professional framer can throw at it, and so much easier than dragging out the noisy compressor and long extension cords. I’ve had one hang up/jam which was my fault. My biggest problem was keeping up with the constant feeding of the nails. Even though not as fast as pneumatic it is still what I would consider high speed. So convenient, and the battery has yet to drain down completely. Just charge it when you put it away, and it’s there ready to go. No prep other than loading nails, and sliding the charged battery on it. I’m far from a professional, but I have done my share of projects. Including building several camps, and room additions over the years. If you take into account the cost of the compressor, hoses, extension cords, and etc. the tool cost isn’t as great as it initially appears. I’m in love with how this thing performs without being tied to a hose. Also really like the paper 30° nails. No more plastics clips flying all over the place as on my old pneumatic nailers.

Great tool no gas to buy has its own built in compressor only why I gave it 4 stars is because of the weight!

Maybe need to tip the hammer did not fire the nails all the way home

Nice all around framing nailer. Weighs about 1 1/2 pounds more than my pneumatic nailer. Also holds about half of the nails as my pneumatic. As long as you don’t mind the additional weight and the inconvenience of adding nails more often, it’s a great tool to have

Used it on one job so far so good, only complaint is it doesn’t set toe nails in deep enough

I love the convenience of not having to deal with a compressor, air hose, and power cord. But this thing has lots of poorly-driven nails — something like 1 in 20 don’t fire and set correctly. I’ve driven maybe 1,000 nails so far and have a feel for the thing, but it just doesn’t work all that well. As a homeowner user I can live with it, but if I had to use it professionally I’d be very unhappy.

Worth every penny. Excellent tool. Recommend getting 6 amp hour battery or better for longer use on site

Works great installing siding. A little heavy.

I have always wanted a cordless framing nailer the last one I had was a Pasload. I didn’t like the gas cartridge. That was why I got the Dewalt 20-Volt Max lithium-ion. Thanks Home Depot.
Horacio Purdy (verified owner) –
Works well, but a little heavy for all day use.
Garth White (verified owner) –
Need a 6AH battery with the device As the 4AH doesn’t have a long battery life for all day or consistent nailing.
Ettie Labadie (verified owner) –
Haven’t used one before but it made framing a breeze. So easy to use. I love Dewalt products – especially with the interchangeable battery.
Chad Connelly (verified owner) –
Great product. Used it to finish the basement on my own. Fast and accurate. Made it go by so much faster than anything I owned before this.

I am a professional user and this gun works very well. We shoot tons of 3″ ring shanks thru the gun and it doesn’t have issues and sinks them completely in trusses and pole barn poles. The truss hook is a little cheap, but nice to have. Not being able to bump fire the gun takes a little getting used to but it definitely beats dragging hoses thru trusses or other difficult areas. No gas cartridges are definitely nice.
