A portable jobsite bluetooth radio makes sense even off the job. I use this in the garage, on the patio, at the lake and during DIY projects around the house. This is also excellent for tent camping paired with the DeWalt inflator and DeWalt portable fan. This radio does have pretty good bluetooth range close to the 100ft. outside with no obsticles, maybe 25ft. indoors in a furnished house with walls and obstructions. The battery life is great even with a 1.5ah battery! Being able to charge a device with USB and running on AC power are also great! The negative for me is the stepped volume settings that add DSP. Only feels like two volumes exist, one for having a conversation over with unnatural bass and the other for competing with tools running in the background cranked (It does sound good at 11). I think this radio should have a passive radiator or tame down the DSP (maybe another step or two down in the middle of the volume range); then you would have a great product!!!

Well as far as I’m concerned the coolest thing about it is that it’s yellow and says Dewalt other than that it’s not a very good product there’s not even a drain so you have to turn it upside down I didn’t know I was buying an oversized lunchbox but it does it say Dewalt and that’s got to be worth something
