I got this for Christmas everything works great but you can’t charge the 5 amp and the 6 amp battery only the 1.3 amp battery works, the 5 amp and the 6 amp battery’s they are too big to fit in the charger. the small radio charger works with the 1.3 amp and the 5 amp and the 6 amp battery’s work in it.

Nice radio, sound is clear and volume is good. Have only used the power cord with it so far so don’t know if there’s any difference when running on battery power. Waiting for my 4.0aph batteries to arrive. Overall seems to be a good quality and sturdy radio.

This is a great workplace radio with power ports and an outlet for 120v. I like the fact that it can work off the DeWalt battery packs too. I like to listen to music when I’m working and this makes it easy to listen anywhere, even if there’s no outlets around for power. The speakers are great sounding as well.

I’ve owned and used this daily for about two years. It generally hangs from the roll bar of my JD Gator and so far has faithfully performed as advertised. It’s been out in light rain and snow, and the large controls allow usage while wearing gloves. I also have the bluetooth module, and it works well with my iPhone to about 30-40 feet. I’m a satisfied DeWalt consumer.

I purchased this about 18 months ago, left it in a damp crawl space where I was working on a prolonged project, and only recently retrieved it from that environment. All of the features work as advertised, the speakers sound great despite the time spent in a damp environment, and being able to plug other devices into it, both AC and USB, was beneficial. Streaming through Bluetooth was also a treat, so I could hear my cellphone ringing despite wearing hearing protection. I now use it as the speakers connected to my computer, or for background while working on the computer, but can easily relocate it to a future work site.

When this product was received, the box was opened and the product was very dirty! There was no kind of wrapping around the radio, and it was exposed to dirt and dust. I would have liked to give a “shining and bright” product to my husband for Christmas, instead it looked “used”, not New!
