I bought this when i didnt need it (impulsive purchase) so far its better than any other dewalt radio i have ive had all the ones that charge batteries. I dont like those because they are heavy when youre carrying a armload of tools. A charger radio would be good for a shop or tool trailer but thats about it. Also the reception goes to crap when something is pluged into the outlets or its charging a battery. This radio however has awesome bluetooth range id say its acually 100 feet like they advertise. Picks up all kinds of stations that my other one doesnt i highly recomenned this product so far

I bought the radio to both play music and charge my 20v batteries like my 18v radio has done for many years. The power cord is in the center of where the battery goes so it is either electric or battery. I took it back

My wife wanted an AM/FM portable radio that would also allow for a bluetooth connection to her phone. I looked all over for one to meet her needs and there were not any quality ones and I stumbled on this. Since I have a number of 20V DeWalt tools and batteries, this was a great solution. I got it for her for her birthday, plugged in one of my batteries and she is very happy.

20-Volt MAX Compact Bluetooth Radio (Tool Only) review: Wow! Love this workhorse radio with roll-bar cage around it to protect it! It runs on AC and Dewalt battery power. I do not have any Dewalt batteries so my review is based on ac power only. The sound is just superb! It has a handle at the top which makes carrying it easy. It is heavy – good sign. It is just enjoyable to use – we did not need a manual to load the FM and AM presets. It is a bit expensive but should survive job-site use for many years. There ya go!

This radio is awesome. So far it was taken out ice fishing and it was perfect!
