After purchasing this kit, I did some research and determined that buying just the tools that I needed (instead of a kit) was the better way to go. I got better tools (still DeWalt) for a better price, without the things that I didn’t need (namely the impact driver). Kits are a nice idea, but it would be nice if DeWalt didn’t add extra tools that just drive up the price. I also found it frustrating that in each kit there’s usually one tool that’s from their lower-end line. It would be nice to keep the tools in a kit all about the same. After returning this kit I did buy DeWalt tools and think they’re great. I use them all the time and haven’t had a single problem. I’d recommend the brand and give the tools themselves a higher rating, but just not this kit for the price. I did learn my lesson about reading through all of the part numbers, just a little later than I should have.

It was a great deal, because it was on sale and it came with a bonus package including a battery, a charger and tool bag, all for free. Best deal on the web!
