The all-metal lever-action keyless blade change allows quick and easy blade changes for less downtime and the variable speed control with 0-3000 SPM range allows you to match speed to the material for superior results. Featuring 4-position orbital action for control of both cut quality and cut speed, this saw also has an adjustable blower to keep the line of cut clear of chips and debris for more accurate cuts. Engineered to accept T-shank jig saw blades, this saw features an all-metal keyless shoe bevel with detents at 0°, 15°, 30° and 45° which are the most common angles used by professionals. Built a work bench with 5 custom shelves that needed inlaid cuts using a jig saw so I bought this to do the job and I couldn’t be happier. This jig saw accepts T-Shank blades and they can be installed in about 3 seconds (no exaggeration). Changing out the blades from roughing to clean cutting was super easy and is just as fast. My 3 Amp-Hr battery powered this for the entire working day (about 10 hours) without a problem. I have had zero issues with this tool and based on the build quality I don’t expect any issues. I love this saw!!

The blades are fine, excellent quality. I wish the instructions were better. Not being an experienced jigsaw user, I found little to guide me about the differences between the blades. Also, there was no help either on the package or on the website about how to cut plastic. I finally did a Chat with a Dewalt representative who helped.

Excellent quality. Ripped right through a fireplace chimney that was concrete-lined. I didn’t know the concrete was there. I just used the wood blade with the DeWalt 20 volt jigsaw. Works so well, I used it in place of a circular saw in OSB boards for quick and smooth cuts.
