The DEWALT 20-Volt MAX Lithium-Ion Cordless Jig Saw (Tool-Only) is ideal for cutting and installing a variety of materials. The all-metal lever-action keyless blade change allows quick and easy blade changes for less downtime and the variable speed control with 0 SPM to 3000 SPM range allows you to match speed to the material for superior results. Featuring 4-position orbital action for control of both cut quality and cut speed, this saw also has an adjustable blower to keep the line of cut clear of chips and debris for more accurate cuts. Engineered to accept T-shank jig saw blades, this saw features an all-metal keyless shoe bevel with detents at 0°, 15°, 30° and 45° which are the most common angles used by professionals.

I bought this because I want to move into the cordless Dewalt tools but can’t afford the XR line. I understood that this doesn’t have an LED light and was OK with that. But I def wanted a blower. This has it but it doesn’t really work. Other than that, you get about one small project on a 3AH battery.Overall, I love this tool and was smiling the whole time using it after I had been using a corded Ryobi (absolution crap). I am, however, going to take it back to HD for an exchange to see if I can get on where the blower works. But if it is just a flaw with this model, I am still going to keep it because I got it very cheap on sale.

I’ve been looking for a jigsaw for a while but it’s one of those tools you don’t need still the time but when you do tou need it now. I’m glad I got the deal with the extra battery. The battery alone practically covers the cost.

Dewalt, being the best name on the market, always comes thru. All of their power tools are the toughest and sturdiest, the batteries are no different. They are pricey, but the last. I definitely would give them a 10 rating, for excellence.

Great saw, it does everything I needed it to do. I only have one complaint. It doesn’t blow the sawn dust away. That’s not cause for me to return it, I’m not going to be using on a daily basis. Just something to consider if you’re interested in purchasing it.
