The DCB240C 20-Volt MAX 4 Ah compact starter kit combines performance, light weight and run time to support your DEWALT 20-Volt MAX tools. Built a work bench with 5 custom shelves that needed inlaid cuts using a jig saw so I bought this to do the job and I couldn’t be happier. This jig saw accepts T-Shank blades and they can be installed in about 3 seconds (no exaggeration). Changing out the blades from roughing to clean cutting was super easy and is just as fast. My 3 Amp-Hr battery powered this for the entire working day (about 10 hours) without a problem. I have had zero issues with this tool and based on the build quality I don’t expect any issues. I love this saw!!

I bought this because I want to move into the cordless Dewalt tools but can’t afford the XR line. I understood that this doesn’t have an LED light and was OK with that. But I def wanted a blower. This has it but it doesn’t really work. Other than that, you get about one small project on a 3AH battery.Overall, I love this tool and was smiling the whole time using it after I had been using a corded Ryobi (absolution crap). I am, however, going to take it back to HD for an exchange to see if I can get on where the blower works. But if it is just a flaw with this model, I am still going to keep it because I got it very cheap on sale.
