The DEWALT DCS334B 20-Volt MAX XR Cordless Jig Saw features an efficient motor for powerful performance and extreme runtime. Precisely control blade speed up to 3,200 SPM with the variable speed trigger and dial, for professional results no matter what you’re cutting. 4-position orbital action lets you adjust for optimal cutting of a variety of materials. A bright LED light illuminates dim work surfaces and makes it easy to follow cut lines. The updated all-metal, lever-action keyless blade clamp is designed for quick and easy blade changes of t-shank jig saw blades. Also keyless, the shoe bevel is easy to adjust with detents at 0°, 15°, 30° and a positive stop at 45°. A removable shoe cover helps protect materials from scratches and an integrated dust blower helps remove dust and debris from your line of sight as you cut.

Very impressed with this sander. It made quick work of and exterior door that I was going to paint. Ergos feel great and worked like a champ. Now, to add a dust extractor to it for easier clean up.

Purchased the Dewalt cordless jigsaw to make curved cuts in wood. It’s great not worrying about a power cord in the way when you’re cutting something with a blade. Lighter battery packs are fine through thinner wood thicknesses. So far I’ve cut 1/4 and 1/2 inch ply. I have yet to try this on greater thickness. The size and weight of this brushless model is outstanding and is well balanced even with the battery packs attached. Also, this jig saw features an air port in the front, which will blow away dust from the cutting area so you can see what you’re cutting. I would recommend this product if you don’t mind spending a bit extra for the convenience of not having to worry about a power cord.

This was what my husband requested for Christmas and he is happy with it. What was weird and annoying was that it was free with the purchase of batteries. I was able to have one piece delivered, but the other had to be picked up at the store.

I have been sticking with Dewalt 20Volt tools. I purchased the prior to applying sealant to my deck. I wanted to get the rough patches and splintered areas leveled down. I have a very large deck and was able to sand all of it with this palm sander. Belt sander would be to fast and cause divets or run away from me. I was able to get under posts and edging. I built the kids wooden swords and bird houses and sanded smoothly and painted. I let me nine year old use it as a first hand on respecting tools and their use. Refinished my dining table, kids desk and going to and sanded my aluminum jon boat down to add a new coat.

Have used this alot and does a great job. Pros and cons to having it battery operated. I like the flexabilty of not messing around with a power cord, but I go through batterys really quickly… I dont know if the sander drains the battery really quickly or if i need to buy new batterys! I like the setting to change power output from low to more powerful.
