The DEWALT DCS334B 20-Volt MAX XR (R) Cordless Jig Saw features an efficient motor for powerful performance and extreme runtime. Precisely control blade speed up to 3,200 SPM with the variable speed trigger and dial, for professional results no matter what you’re cutting. 4-position orbital action lets you adjust for optimal cutting of a variety of materials. A bright LED light illuminates dim work surfaces and makes it easy to follow cut lines. The updated all-metal, lever-action keyless blade clamp is designed for quick and easy blade changes of t-shank jig saw blades. Also keyless, the shoe bevel is easy to adjust with detents at 0, 15, 30, and a positive stop at 45. A removable shoe cover helps protect materials from scratches, and an integrated dust blower helps remove dust and debris from your line of sight as you cut.

Purchased the Dewalt cordless jigsaw to make curved cuts in wood. It’s great not worrying about a power cord in the way when you’re cutting something with a blade. Lighter battery packs are fine through thinner wood thicknesses. So far I’ve cut 1/4 and 1/2 inch ply. I have yet to try this on greater thickness. The size and weight of this brushless model is outstanding and is well balanced even with the battery packs attached. Also, this jig saw features an air port in the front, which will blow away dust from the cutting area so you can see what you’re cutting. I would recommend this product if you don’t mind spending a bit extra for the convenience of not having to worry about a power cord.

Have used this alot and does a great job. Pros and cons to having it battery operated. I like the flexabilty of not messing around with a power cord, but I go through batterys really quickly… I dont know if the sander drains the battery really quickly or if i need to buy new batterys! I like the setting to change power output from low to more powerful.

This sander works well overall. I only gave it 4 stars because the dust bag sometime loosens and pops off. I have yet to find a good solution to attach it to my dust collection systems, but as a cordless tool i prefer the no cords/hose approach.

It was actually doing great, then the second time I used it the band broke under the pad, just haven’t had a chance to return it. I had hope for 140.00 it would at least have one with it being as though, no tool bag battery or charger, a little dissatisfied, I own all Dewalt also
